Tanaye and Tommy’s October wedding was the kind of day that felt made for film wedding photos — intentional, personal, and centered around the people they love most.

They were introduced by mutual friends at Townhall and went on their first date just four days later at Parallax before ending the night at Treehouse in Tremont. Even those early places in their story made their way into the wedding day, with table numbers named after meaningful restaurants and locations from the beginning of their relationship.

One of my favorite parts of the day was their ceremony, performed by Tommy’s dad. It brought such a personal and grounding presence to the moment.
They shared their own vows during the ceremony, which was so heartfelt and special. You could feel how much intention they brought into their marriage, not just their wedding.

Shooting on film requires me to slow down and be deliberate. I’m not overshooting or reacting quickly. I’m watching closely and choosing the moments that matter most. Which fit so naturally on Tanaye and Tommy’s wedding day.
What really stood out most was how much Tanaye and Tommy prioritized their guests.
Each married couple was invited to dance to their own wedding song during dinner — such a meaningful way to honor the marriages that came before them. Every guest received a book that included wedding photos of the married couples in attendance. It was so thoughtful without feeling overdone.
After the ceremony, a live exit band with a trumpet player led everyone into cocktail hour. It was joyful, elevated, and full of energy — and the kind of moment that feels especially timeless when documented through film wedding photos

There was so much movement and texture throughout the day — especially during cocktail hour. Tanaye’s veil, hand-stitched by her mom and aunts, photographed beautifully on film.
For a couple who put this much care into their wedding, film wedding photos were such a perfect fit. It allowed me to move quietly and document the day in a way that felt true to who they are.
Tanaye and Tommy created a celebration that honored their story and the people who shaped it and I was so grateful to be a part of it!
