For Bella and Cam’s Cleveland engagement session, we spent the evening surrounded by the gardens, stone architecture, and fountains of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. It gave us the perfect mix of classic portraits and relaxed, playful moments that felt true to them.
Bella and Cam first met at a 4th of July party, where a simple spark quickly grew into something lasting. During their final year of college, they filled their days with laughter, adventure, and a love that felt easy and certain.
From the start, they knew they had found their forever person. Five years later, they live in Rocky River with their two cats, Luna and Cheeto, continuing to build a life together.

I love engagement session locations that give us plenty of variety without having to travel from place to place, and the Cultural Gardens gave us so much to work with.
We used the fountain and stone terrace for some of their more classic portraits before moving into the gardens, where the greenery and flowers created a softer backdrop. The hydrangeas were especially beautiful and added so much texture without taking away from Bella and Cam.
They also incorporated two different looks into their session. Starting in lighter, more romantic outfits and then changing into a more casual black-and-white look gave their final gallery even more variety.

The gardens were such a beautiful setting for Bella and Cam’s Cleveland engagement session. Between the fountain, greenery, stone architecture, and a mix of color and black-and-white photos, we were able to create a gallery that feels romantic while still being relaxed and fun.
More importantly, their photos feel like them.
If you’re planning a Cleveland engagement session, I always recommend choosing a location that gives you room to relax, move around, and actually enjoy spending the evening together. Your engagement photos should document this season of your relationship without making you feel like you have to perform for the camera.
