As a Cleveland photographer myself, I’ve picked up tons of knowledge and experience on how to create the perfect session for my couples. Engagement sessions are truly one of the best ways to celebrate such a big milestone in your life. Not only will you end up with tons of gorgeous images to use for your save the dates, but you’ll have an abundance of photos to show your friends and family, too! Picking the right location for your engagement session can be tricky, especially if you’re going for a specific vibe. With that being said, let’s dive into the top 5 engagement photo locations for Cleveland below!
The Cleveland Museum of Art is a beautiful location for sessions you’re interested in the classic marble business look. The stunning architecture and greenery all around make for such an elegant atmosphere. I love recommending this spot to couples who are wanting two different vibes. You get to capture some romantic and chic shots in front of the museum and then go for some more candid and playful photos in front of all the greenery!
The Old Courthouse is a great location option for winter engagements because it’s indoors! From the staircase, the doors, to even the walls, it provides an incredible backdrop for couples wanting a more editorial and elegant look to their photos. Similar to the Cleveland Art Museum, this location offers such a charming atmosphere to experiment with. It’s important to know that this location requires a permit and fee for your session, and can only be done on weekend mornings/afternoons. So, if this sounds like the perfect spot to take your engagement photos, make sure to plan ahead.
Huntington Beach is a gorgeous location for couples who love the beach and sunrise/sunset. With the waves crashing, the beautiful water, and greenery all around, it is truly the most picture-perfect setting. Emma and Kyle’s neutral outfits complimented the beach amazingly. We were even able to capture some super candid shots with the beautiful sunset in the background! If you want a timeless and more outdoorsy location for photos, this is definitely the spot for you. What better way to celebrate your love than along the shoreline of a gorgeous beach?!
This is a beautiful spot if you’re looking for a classic but trendy downtown location. Nikki and Charles were so fun to work with and I absolutely love how the photos turned out. City Hall has such stunning architecture to pose in front of and they both absolutely nailed it! There’s easy parking access with a parking garage very close to the spot, too!
The Flats also have really cool architecture to play around with, and lots of variety for backgrounds! There’s tons of buildings, lakes, docks, and boats to pose in front of. If you’re trying to decide between multiple locations for your engagement session, this spot is great! Brain and Jess ended up with tons of different photos to choose from, and I’m super happy with how everything turned out!
“If you want the best photographer in the game that listens to you and capture your moment perfectly, then you need Jordan in your life! I hired Jordan for my wedding and from inquiring information to moving forward with her, she was so responsive, helpful and didn’t force herself like others do… Her package options are all very reasonable and I love how the one that I went with came with an engagement shoot and I was able to KEEP the photos after she edit them. I found out that other photographers didn’t give you that option which just blew my mind… I honestly couldn’t be happier and I have recommended her to all of my friends. We will be back on here giving another review on how fabulous (our wedding) will be and the memories and moments Jordan will be capturing :)”
